SPONSORSHIP 2008

WHY SPONSOR FRINTON

TENNIS?

Sports marketers have heralded

the growth of regional tennis in

the UK as a major, untapped

opportunity for sponsorship.

Enlightened businessmen and

women, too, are waking up to the

possibilities.

The marketers argument is simple: Wimbledon and Queen's Club suffer from "Corporate Saturation". While other, less well known venues like Frinton witness scintillating tennis. It is here too, that spectators can get up close and personal with players.  At Frinton, we are looking for businesses to join the Frinton Tennis Partnership. We believe in carefully tailored event management, sponsorship, marketing and press relations and we have skilled people here to help, if needed.

A business choosing any of our sponsorship opportunities will find a friendly and flexible welcome from club members and tournament organisers. And the Frinton partnership goes beyond one-off sponsorship. We are looking for companies who want to share Frinton's success as the club promotes and expands a whole calendar of summertime events. The hope is for the club and the sponsor to grow together, perhaps over many years.

WORLD-CLASS TENNIS PUTS FRINTON BACK ON THE MAP

Frinton Lawn Tennis Club (FLTC) is fast becoming one of Britain's most
important regional tennis venues.

The Lawn Tennis Association is guaranteeing a total of $25,000 in prize
money to Frinton's Men's and Women's Satellite Tournaments this summer (13-19 July 2008). Both are ATP world-ranking events and, as such, attract many players from the world's top 600.

Frinton will also host one of Britain's best veterans tournaments this
summer (7 -12 July).  This tournament is now a Grade 3 Event which puts Frinton on the same level as Wimbledon for veterans.  It will be a very high status event and will attract some of the best veterans around.

Other tournaments this summer include the Frinton Junior Open Tournament (11-16 August) now a Grade 3 and also part of the Sunday Telegraph/Center Parcs Grand Prix Circuit 2007.  We again have the five ever popular Junior American Tournaments (23 & 29 July and 5, 19, 27 August). Although the tennis is for youngsters, each JAT event generates support from around 200 parents - hence the sponsorship opportunity.
