HALL HIRE

The Venue

If you are looking for a venue for your function - look no further. With its charming thatched Clubhouse and it's delightful grass court setting, Frinton Tennis Club is the perfect venue for any function. The spacious beamed ballroom is ideal for Wedding Receptions, Anniversary and Engagement Parties, Business Lunches, Seminars, Auctions, Luncheons, Christmas Parties, Barn Dances, Quizzes, "Casino" Nights, Exhibitions - the list is endless.

Prices
Just £200 is all it costs to hire this unique venue for the evening - £250 if you want it all day (£50 extra if you wish to set up the night before).   There is also a £100 deposit against breakages and a £30 security charge.    You can book our magnificent Candelabra (as seen in the above photo) at a cost of £5 each.

Availability
The ballroom is generally available throughout the year apart from certain dates in July and August although this year there are only a few dates available and we are already taking bookings for 2009.

Booking

A completed Hall Hire Schedule and deposit of 50% of total hall hire charge will secure your booking.  Provisional bookings may be made but must be confirmed within 2 weeks.

Catering

We are extremely lucky to be able to offer the services of Paul Wharrier formerly the Olive Branch, Thorpe Le Soken.  After selling the Olive Branch, Paul worked on a number of projects which included becoming the Development Chef for the FAGE UK, producers of TOTAL Greek Yoghurt.  In his latest venture, Paul has recently become Chef Patron at The Boat House Grill Bar and Rooms in Sudbury.  After a complete refurbishment, The Boathouse, renowned for its modern European dishes, has become a local favourite.  All menus can be downloaded from this web page.

 

To confirm your catering requirements, a deposit of 10% of the total cost will be required, with the balance payable 10 days before the function.  It is now possible to discuss food, drink and venue hire at the same time (one meeting instead of three!!).  Just contact the Club and you can make an appointment.

 

 

 

 

The Bar
The Ballroom has its own function Bar which will be fully stocked and staffed by our friendly, efficient Bar Staff. For all your wine requirements and advice on wines and champagne please contact our very experienced Bar & Catering Manager, Mike Brown on 01255 674055.   Our extensive wine and reception drinks lists can be downloaded from this page.  The bar is now licensed until 1 am Friday & Saturday, 12 pm Monday—Thursday and Sunday.
